Sunday's League Two predictions including Fleetwood vs. AFC Wimbledon

Chesterfield vs. Gillingham (Sunday, 3.00pm)

Both aiming to end three-match losing runs, Chesterfield and Gillingham will square off at the SMH Group Stadium on Sunday.

The hosts have dropped to 10th spot in the League Two table and trail the playoff places by three points, while their visitors sit 14th and four points worse off than their hosts in the midst of their own rut.

We say: Chesterfield 2-1 Gillingham

While both sides are in the midst of tough runs, it seems to be Gillingham whose issues are deeper, and we back the hosts to bounce back to winning ways at the SMH Group Stadium as a result thanks to the abundance of quality they possess all over the pitch.

Crewe vs. Bromley (Sunday, 3.00pm)

Separated by five points in the fight for places in the top seven of the League Two table, Crewe Alexandra will welcome Bromley to the Mornflake Stadium for an important contest on Sunday.

The hosts have dropped to fifth spot following a tricky run in December, while their visitors sit 11th but have moved within three points of the playoffs thanks to an unbeaten streak.

With the hosts having regained confidence from a return to winning ways last time out and the visitors growing in confidence and climbing towards the top seven, we anticipate a tight contest on Sunday and see a share of the spoils as the most likely outcome.

AFC Wimbledon square off against Fleetwood Town on Sunday afternoon looking for the win that would keep the club in second position in the League Two table.

Meanwhile, Fleetwood play host to the promotion chasers starting the next batch of fixtures in 17th spot, seven points clear of the relegation zone.

Although Wimbledon are the clear favourites to prevail from this contest, we cannot ignore the new manager bounce at Fleetwood. Taking that into consideration, Wild's side could do enough to earn a share of the spoils in a low-scoring contest.

Newport vs. Morecambe (Sunday, 3.00pm)

Newport County and Morecambe meet on Sunday in what could prove to be an important match in the lower echelons of League Two.

Although the home side sit in 18th position in the table, 23rd-placed Morecambe travel to South Wales trailing their next opponents by just the six points.

We say: Newport County 3-1 Morecambe

With Morecambe having improved of late, there is an argument that they are the favourites to overcome their hosts. Nevertheless, given the level of Newport's most recent opponents, we are backing the Welsh side to bounce back with a morale-boosting win.
