The visitors are definitely missing Lisandro Martinez (ACL), Luke Shaw (calf), Mason Mount (thigh), Jonny Evans (back), Tom Heaton (unspecified) and Altay Bayindir (unspecified) for the trip south, while one unnamed player is dealing with illness.
However, Amorim was loath to go into specifics during his pre-game press conference, so until stated otherwise, it can be assumed that the Red Devils will have an identical squad available from their 2-1 FA Cup fourth-round win over Leicester City.
Changes should not be ruled out after the unconvincing manner of that triumph, where Harry Maguire had the final say with an offside header in injury time; the Englishman will certainly reprise his role on Sunday.
Matthijs de Ligt might be introduced alongside Maguire, Leny Yoro and Andre Onana, though, a move that would push Noussair Mazraoui into a wing-back role in place of Patrick Dorgu.
After only giving Dorgu 45 minutes on his English football debut last Friday, Amorim might not deem him ready for a Premier League start just yet, so Mazraoui and Diogo Dalot could operate as the wing-backs while Manuel Ugarte and Bruno Fernandes pair up in the middle.
Kobbie Mainoo and Rasmus Hojlund are also at risk of the axe after Alejandro Garnacho and Joshua Zirkzee's telling contributions against Leicester, but the livewire Amad Diallo should not be in any danger of dropping out.
Manchester United possible starting lineup:
Onana; De Ligt, Maguire, Yoro; Mazraoui, Ugarte, Fernandes, Dalot; Diallo, Garnacho; Zirkzee
