River Plate striker Julian Alvarez has attracted a lot of attention from Europe's big clubs of late, with Real Madrid and Juventus two of those most keen to land the Argentine.
The 21-year-old is likely to be Argentina's next exciting export to European football, and River are looking to get him to sign a renewed contract.
Having spoken to the player's agent, Fernando Hidalgo, River might just get their wish of having him put pen to paper, but Alvarez will only do so if Los Millonarios agree to sell him should an offer of 20 million euros arrive in the next transfer window.
River aren't keen to sell Alvarez, but the forward and those around him believe that a move to Europe would increase his chances of playing at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Juventus and Real Madrid are the sides most interested in Alvarez, though Fiorentina, AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen have also been keeping tabs on the player.
