Real Madrid agree 'anti-Haaland' clause in order to sign 16-year-old wonderkid Endrick

Real Madrid have agreed to an 'anti-Erling Haaland' clause as part of a deal to sign Brazilian wonderkid Endrick.

The Spanish giants are pursuing a deal for the 16-year-old Palmeiras forward, a player regarded as one of the most exciting young talents in world football.

Endrick will turn 18 in the summer of 2024, the age at which he'll be able to officially join Real's senior set-up.

That date is notable with regards to Haaland's future as well, with the Manchester City holding a clause in his deal which will make him available for transfer that summer.

Real Madrid have been tipped as a contender to move for the Norwegian star in 2024, however a move for Haaland would directly impact Endrick's hopes of proving himself as Real Madrid's star striker due to their similarity in playing style.

Haaland only signed for City this summer, but has already bagged a staggering 23 goals in all competitions to prove himself as, arguably, the world's top striker.

According to Marca, Madrid are 'receptive' to the idea of dropping their interest in Haaland in order to prioritise the signing of Endrick.

Such an update will be music to the ears of Manchester City who will no doubt be determined to keep hold of their star man beyond 2024, however for their rivals the news will not be well received.

Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are all among the clubs who are interested in signing the 16-year-old, however Real Madrid's new stance certainly boosts their chances of getting a deal done.
