The Toffees, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back from a derby defeat to Liverpool in Wednesday's League Cup meeting.
Match preview
Everton head into the weekend off the back of a disappointing result in their midweek cup clash, where a much-changed side fell to a narrow 2-1 loss to their Merseyside rivals, Liverpool.
Although they would have been disappointed to fall short in the derby, Everton have performed well in recent league matches, having collected seven points from their last three WSL fixtures.
After playing out a 2-2 draw with Bristol City, Toffees went on to claim back-to-back away victories over Aston Villa and West Ham United.
The Villans were edged out via a 2-1 scoreline before Karen Holmgaard scored the decisive goal in last Sunday's away meeting with the Hammers, leaving the Toffees in seventh place and one point adrift of the top half of the table.
While they have won both of their last two away trips, Everton are still searching for their first home win of the season, having drawn one and lost five of their six competitive home games.
After picking up 19 points from their nine league matches, Man City are currently sitting in third place and just three points adrift of Arsenal and Chelsea.
The Citizens are looking to end 2023 with a fourth consecutive league win after beating Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa in their last three WSL outings.
They fell behind in the seventh minute against the Villans last weekend, but a quick-fire Lauren Hemp brace helped the Citizens claim a 2-1 victory.
Having played three straight competitive home matches, Gareth Taylor's side will now head on their travels for the first time since November 19 when they beat rivals Man United 3-1 in the Manchester derby.
After winning four of their five competitive away games this season, the visitors will be confident about their chances of claiming maximum points in their final match before the winter break.

Sorensen has confirmed that goalkeeper Emily Ramsey is set for a spell on the sidelines after sustaining an ankle injury in the midweek League Cup defeat.
Ramsey adds to a lengthy injury list that features Katrine Veje, Elise Stenevik, Lucy Hope, Justine Vanhaevermaet and Karen Holmgaard.
The hosts are also without the services of Italian forward Martina Piemonte, who will serve the final match of a three-game suspension.
As for the Citizens, they will make a late decision on Alanna Kennedy's availability after the defender was forced off at half time against Aston Villa.
After registering four goals in the last three league games, Hemp will be looking to continue her impressive form when she lines up on the flanks.
The likes of Hemp, Chloe Kelly and Jill Roord will offer support to striker Bunny Shaw, who will be hoping to add to her six-goal league tally.
