The Brazil legend is staying at the Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paolo

Brazil legend Pele has been readmitted to hospital in Sao Paolo just a few days after leaving intensive care, but appears to be recovering well.

Pele's daughter Kely Nascimiento has released images of the 80-year-old, in which he appears to be in good spirits.

The three-time World Cup winner is smiling in his hospital bed in the photo posted by his daughter on Instagram.

He is currently undergoing physiotherapy in Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paolo following an operation earlier this month to remove a colon tumour.
