Napoli 'resigned to losing Kim Min-Jae amid Manchester United links

Napoli have reportedly accepted that defender Kim Min-Jae may be sold in the upcoming transfer window, with the likes of Manchester United interested in the player.

The 26-year-old has been an integral part of a Napoli side who have won their first Serie A title since the 1989-90 season, having featured in 33 league matches for Luciano Spalletti's men.

Having played the entirety of his career in Asia before moving to Turkish giants Fenerbahce in 2021, it has been a rapid rise to the summit of Italian and European football for the South Korean.

According to 90min, Napoli are resigned to losing Min-Jae despite previously insisting he would remain at the club past the conclusion of this summer's transfer window.

The report adds that the Serie A champions are reluctant to lose the defender, but would find it difficult to reject bids from clubs exceeding a value of £52m.

It is believed Erik ten Hag's Red Devils, Liverpool and a number of top teams are keen on the centre-back after such a standout campaign in a title-winning Napoli side.

Min-Jae and his Partenopei teammates still have four games remaining of their season - they travel to Monza on Sunday afternoon in their penultimate away match of the campaign.
