West Ham are resigned to missing out on Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha, talkSPORT understands.

The Hammers are in the market for a replacement for Declan Rice after the England international joined Arsenal in a deal rising to £105million.

David Moyes' side have had two bids rejected by the Cottagers for the 28-year-old.

And this has seen the east London outfit believing their chances of signing the player are very slim.

The Turkish side have released a video on Twitter of the Ivorian winger on the plane ready for his medical.

In a message delivered to the club's supporters, he said: "Hello Gala fans!

"I just wanted to say I'm on my way [and] I can't wait to see you soon."

Crystal Palace forward Michael Olise could be on his way out with Chelsea reportedly launching a first bid.

The France youth international has earned rave reviews at Selhurst Park since joining from Reading in 2021.

And according to RMC Sport, the 21-year-old has been the subject of a £39million offer - including bonuses.

The news outlet has claimed that Olise is keen to link up with the west London outfit.

It remains to be seen whether Palace will accept Chelsea's proposal.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the 30-year-old has agreed a three-year deal to join Galatasaray.

It has been said that the Turkish side are now booking medical tests for the Ivory Coast international.

Galatasaray have fended off competition from Saudi suitors, rivals Fenerbahce and Italian outfit Lazio in the race to sign Zaha.

Reports have claimed that Zaha will earning less money than what he would be earning had he stayed at Crystal Palace, or if he had made the move to the Middle East.

Eddie Howe has expressed his delight over Newcastle's transfer for Harvey Barnes.

The Magpies announced that they had signed the winger from Leicester earlier on Sunday.

And now Howe has declared why the Toon forked out £39million to bring him to St James' Park.

He told the club's website: "Harvey is an exciting talent who I have admired for a long time so I'm delighted to welcome him to Newcastle United.

"He is strong, quick and very good technically, and he showed last season in particular that he has an eye for goal from wide positions.

"He will add a different element to our play and we look forward to working with him as we prepare for the season ahead."

Wilfried Zaha looks set to join Super Lig champions Galatasaray on a free transfer after departing Crystal Palace.

The 30-year-old is a free agent after running his contract down at Selhurst Park.

Zaha has been linked with a big-money switch to Saudi Arabia, while Lazio and Fenerbahce have been credited with an interest in recent weeks.

But it appears that Turkish giants Galatasaray have won the race, after the club confirmed that talks are taking place regarding a transfer.

A statement from the club read: "Formal negotiations have been initiated with professional footballer Dazet Wilfried Armel Zaha regarding the transfer of the footballer to our club."

Newcastle have confirmed the signing of Harvey Barnes from Leicester City.

Barnes has signed a five-year contract at the Magpies after completing his £38million move to St. James' Park.

Speaking after his arrival, he said: "I'm delighted. It's an amazing club and for me it's a massive opportunity to come and be involved in a successful team that's doing exciting things, so I'm absolutely buzzing to be here.

"I think it's an attacker's dream to come into a team like this; it's high paced, it's physically demanding, but you can see the rewards of that with the chances and the goals scored, so I think I'll certainly suit the style."

Fulham have agreed a deal with Wolves of £5.5million plus bonuses for striker Raul Jimenez, talkSPORT understands.

Jimenez's arrival at Craven Cottage comes with Aleksandar Mitrovic on the brink of a move to Saudi Arabia.

The Mexican striker only managed three goals in 20 appearances last season for the Midlands club.

The 32-year-old has been with the club for five years since after joining from Benfica.

Arnaut Danjuma is ready to give his all for Everton after his infamous January U-turn which saw him sign on loan at Tottenham.

"It's amazing to join Everton and I'm really happy to be here," he told evertontv. "It's been a long time coming to join such a massive club as Everton and it makes me proud.

"I had interest from other clubs but there was a pull towards Everton because of the fans, the manager and the history of the Club and it's second time lucky for me.

"I know I did not move to the Club in January, that was because there was some uncertainty over the manager situation at that time, but I think it makes it even more beautiful for me to join now. I am very grateful to be at the Club and I can't wait to play in front of the fans as well.

Everton have announced the signing of Arnaut Danjuma on a season-long loan from Villarreal.

The 26-year-old spent the past six months with Tottenham, a year on from making the semi-finals of the Champions League with his parent club.

A Netherlands international who has also played for Bournemouth, Danjuma has one goal in 23 Premier League appearances.

Alex Telles has joined former Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr.

The Brazilian left-back has seen his move to the Saudi Pro League confirmed after falling out of favour in the Premier League.

Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia have kept Telles out of the Red Devils side.

The 30-year-old spent last season on loan at Sevilla but now sees his two and a half year spell in Manchester ended.

It's believed the fee will be worth £4million, while the player will earn £7m a year.

Luton Town may have seen their transfer hopes scuppered by Lionel Messi.

It appears their attempts to sign Inter Miami striker Josef Martinez have been complicated by the Argentine's arrival.

The Sun report that the Hatters haven't met the £10million valuation the Major League Soccer club have for their player.

But it's also been noted Messi has jokingly called Martinez his 'new best friend' as the pair hit it off.

Luton's hopes haven't totally been dashed though.

Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba have also movr to America to play for the franchise co-owned by David Beckham.

Manchester United beat Arsenal 2-0 in a pre-season friendly in the USA last night.

Goals from new Man United captain Bruno Fernandes and Jadon Sancho saw Erik ten Hag's side comfortably come out on top against the Gunners.

Aaron Ramsdale has received criticism for his performance after Fernandes' long-range strike should have been saved by the England goalkeeper.

He got a hand to the effort but it was not strong enough as it bounced through and into the net.

Also during the friendly, Lisandro Martinez lived up to his 'butcher' nickname.

Martinez wiped Bukayo Saka out in the first-half by scything him down with a forceful challenge and it led to a furious reaction from the Arsenal players, who raced in to protect Saka.

Gunners captain Martin Odegaard even squared up to Martinez, who did not back down as he glared the Norwegian away.

While tempers boiled over momentarily, tensions eventually settled but the game proved that there is no love lost between the two old rivals.

Harry Kane's wife and kids have reportedly been spotted in Munich as talk of a Tottenham departure ramps up.

The England international has been heavily linked with a move away from Spurs this summer as he enters the final year of his contract.

Two bids have been made by Bayern Munich but neither have come close to Tottenham's valuation of over £100million.

However, Kane is understood to be keen on the move.

And that has been firmed up by a report from German media giants BILD that his wife Katie Goodland and other members of his family have been spotted in Munich.

They have stated that Katie has been in the city 'for the past few days' looking for properties and schools.
