Posting on his Instagram story to his 8.9million followers, the ex-Everton star wrote: "When that hate don't work they start telling lies", followed by a peace sign emoji.
After a disappointing return to Stamford Bridge that saw him score just eight league goals following his £97.5million move in 2021, Lukaku returned to Inter Milan on loan last season.
A promising campaign led the 30-year-old to look set to rejoin the Serie A side permanently.

But the Italian giants then pulled out.
The Serie A side had pinned their decision on finding out that advisers working on behalf of Lukaku had secret talks with bitter rivals Juventus.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Belgian is trying to patch up the relationship with Inter and 'wants forgiveness', but the club aren't interested.
It also remains to be seen whether Juve will sign him.
