Robert Lewandowski is already with his new team, as the new Barcelona striker joined the expedition to the United States on Sunday.
The striker travelled to Fort Lauderdale, Barcelona's headquarters for the first stop in the North American country.
Lewandowski's trip to Miami
Lewandowski left Mallorca on Sunday, where he has a house and has spent a large part of the summer.
Once the agreement between Barcelona and Bayern Munich for his signing was made official, the Pole travelled to the island to say goodbye to his family before joining the Barcelona training camp.
After a stopover in Madrid, Lewandowski set off for Miami to join his new team's training camp.
After a 10-hour journey, the forward was met at the airport by members of the club's security team, who took him to the hotel.
The former Borussia Dortmund striker will be presented this Monday at 19:00 CEST at the Barca Academy in Miami.
Before that, throughout the morning, the player will undergo medical tests prior to signing his contract.
Lewandowski's first message as a Barcelona player
Meanwhile, the striker has already sent his first message to the Barcelona fans as a player of the team.
It was through a video recorded for social networks from a watchtower on a Florida beach.
"I am very happy to join Barcelona," he stated.
"I am very happy to be here. It was very easy to decide to come to Barcelona.
"Barcelona is back. I think I can help to put the team back at the top of European football.
"I like winning trophies and this is a new chapter for me, with new challenges.
"This was an opportunity for me privately. I have always wanted to play in LaLiga and for a big team.
"I've already been speaking to Xavi and I know about his ideas. He was a great player and has a great future ahead of him as a coach."
Barcelona now have the challenge of making sure that they have the financial ability to register Lewandowski for the new season along with the rest of their new signings, such as Raphinha, Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie.
