The Manchester United star's time at Old Trafford is 'over', according to his agent Mino Raiola, who said earlier this month the Frenchman is 'unhappy' in Manchester.
And with just a year-and-a-half left on his contract, a departure for Pogba seems inevitable either in January or next summer.
Eurosport claim Juventus are willing to bring the midfielder back to Italy, and they would prefer to do a swap deal with United.
However, that seems unlikely so Juve may make a straight cash bid which would require the Red Devils to agree to sell Pogba for a fee of around £50million.
Pogba won four Serie A titles with Juve before returning to Old Trafford in a then world record £89m deal in 2016.
European football expert Kevin Hatchard has told talkSPORT a Juventus return for Pogba will NOT happen in the January transfer window.
He said: "I think they will probably wait until the summer.
"Mino Raiola, his agent, has alluded to that, he said 'when I was talking about his future, I'm talking about the end of the season'.
"It's very difficult to do that kind of deal in January, and I think that's right.
"I'd be very surprised if Juventus made that move mid-season. I think they'd have to get a fair few numbers in order by the end of the campaign and see exactly what they're working with.
"So it would be a big surprise to see him go mid-season."
Juventus want to re-sign Paul Pogba in a cut-price deal, reports claim.
