With the Whites in a fight for Premier League survival, some supporters at Elland Road in the 1-1 draw on Sunday could be heard chanting former manager Marcelo Bielsa's name before demanding change at the top.
Responding to Jim White's comments that such chants won't help the team, Jordan said: "Not at all.
"I also understand that they were singing for the board to be out and it's unfathomable. This is a club that languished outside of the club for 16 years.
"Whatever you think of [Andrea] Radrizzani right now, and whatever you think about the decision to sack Bielsa, this is a club that sat outside of the Premier League for 16 years, went through two or three virtual administrations where Ken Bates pre-packaged them in and out of financial difficulties.
"They couldn't find their way. They couldn't find their backsides with both hands and a funnel, got out of the league underneath the leadership of this owner and now that you have some adversity, you're going to shout, 'sack the board'?
"I don't know what to say to people like that."
With Burnley losing to Tottenham and Leeds earning a last-gasp point against Brighton, the relegation battle is set to go right to the wire with the Premier League campaign ending on Sunday.
Leeds, in 17th, are a point clear of the drop zone but have only one game left to play, while 18th-placed Burnley have two games left of the season.
Everton, meanwhile, are a point ahead of Leeds and also have two games left.
The Toffees fell to a 3-2 defeat against Brentford on Sunday afternoon with Frank Lampard's side missing the chance to make themselves safe with a victory at Goodison Park.
But Jordan believes Everton will be fine, insisting it's a straight fight between Burnley and Leeds to survive.
Speaking on White and Jordan, he said: "Some way or another, Everton have hotchpotched their way out of this circumstance. I don't think they'll get relegated.
"I know the argument was that the game was at Goodison yesterday, but the game was taken away by two situations that neither the fans' passion and influence could drag them past, or that the coach could do much about.
"They were judgement calls made my individual players on the pitch that no amount of coaching could even legislate for or prevent.
"They've got Goodison again on Wednesday, that will be their chance to arrest what happened on Sunday, and I think they will do.
"I think it's a straight shootout between Burnley and Leeds now."
