As the 22-year-old left and departed down the tunnel, fans serenaded him with a rendition of 'Brennan Johnson, he's one of our own'.
Johnson came up through the academy at Forest before breaking into the first-team in 2021/22, playing every game in the Championship season.

And after a season with his local club in the top flight where he scored eight times, a mega-money move followed as one of Ange Postecoglou's first signings at Tottenham.
