Cristiano Ronaldo will not be part of the Manchester United squad for the club's planned tour of Thailand and Australia which starts on Friday.
A few days ago it was reported that the Portuguese had expressed his desire to leave the club, despite having a contract signed until 2023 with the Red Devils.
Ronaldo was also absent from the first-team squad's return to training on Monday, citing family issues as the reason he was unable to return to Manchester.
Now, according to Sky Sports, Ronaldo will not be present for any games of the pre-season tour.
United face Liverpool in Thailand, before flying to Melbourne for a match against Melbourne Victory then Crystal Palace.
A trip to Perth for a tie with Aston Villa is also on the cards.
Following that, Atletico Madrid and United meet in Oslo, before Erik Ten Hag's first match at Old Trafford against Rayo Vallecano.
