Cristiano Ronaldo declared he is unfazed by recent criticism after firing Manchester United to a much-needed win over Tottenham Hotspur.
Ronaldo, 36, scored the opening goal with a sublime volley and set up Edinson Cavani to double the lead as United won 3-0 at Spurs on Saturday evening.
The Portuguese striker has been in great form since returning to the Red Devils this summer, scoring seven goals in 10 games.

But the same cannot be said of the team as a whole, with United thrashed 5-0 by Liverpool in their previous Premier League fixture to leave manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer teetering.
A vital victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium eased the pressure on the Norwegian and Ronaldo insists he and his teammates are best off shutting out the noise.

"The criticisms are always there," Ronaldo told Sky Sports. "For me, it doesn't bother me because I have played 18 years of football, so I know that one day [people will say] we are perfect and another day [they will say] we are crap.
"I know that and we have to deal with that, but it's always better when the people praise you and they are happy with you.
"Sometimes life is like that, sometimes we have to pass through bad moments and we have to change and we changed today."
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner praised United for their "unbelievable performance" to end a run of four games without a win in the Premier League and go fifth in the table.
"We knew before the game that we had a tough week [after] a result that we didn't expect," Ronaldo added.
"The team was a little bit under pressure, a little bit sad, but we knew that today we [could] give a good answer. We played good, we started the game very well.

"Of course my job is to help the team with my experience, my goals, my assists and I did that today and I feel so pleased with that. But in terms of the team, it was an unbelievable performance in my opinion."
United are in the midst of a challenging run of games, with a trip to Italian side Atalanta in the Champions League their next task.
They then host local rivals Manchester City on Saturday, with these games believed to be pivotal in deciding whether Solskjaer will remain as manager or face the sack.
