Arsenal loanee Joe Willock admitted scoring a late equaliser against Tottenham 'made it sweeter' after Newcastle fought back from a goal behind to claim a vital point at St James's Park.
With just five minutes remaining, super-sub Willock grabbed a crucial equaliser to earn a point for his side and leave the Magpies three points above Fulham, who face Aston Villa later on Sunday.
Hugo Lloris kept out Miguel Almiron's initial header but the Gunners youngster arrived at the right place at the right time to thunder home a leveller off the underside of the bar.
Speaking after the match, Willock told Sky Sports: "I am an Arsenal player and it makes it sweeter but I am happy to do my job.
"I feel like if we continue to play how we did today, we will have no problems staying in this league."
