During his time at Ajax, Antony scored 24 goals and provided 22 assists in 82 competitive appearances, earning him a move to Old Trafford in the summer of 2022.
However, the Brazilian has been unable to live up to his £85.5m price tag, mustering 11 goals and five assists in 82 matches.
Last season, the 24-year-old started just 15 of his 29 Premier League appearances, registering just two goal contributions.
Although Antony still has at least three years to run on his contract, he has recently been linked with a loan move away from the 20-time English champions.
Antony agent addresses Man United future
There is a belief that the Red Devils would consider a loan departure as long as any potential suitor agrees to cover Antony's £70,000 a week wages.
However, Man United boss Erik ten Hag has seemingly poured cold water on those rumours, insisting he is "convinced" Antony has what it tasks to succeed at Old Trafford.
Antony's agent appears to share Ten Hag's sentiments, stating that his client will remain at Man United for the 2024-25 season.
Pedroso told journalist Fabrizio Romano: "I see reports about potential exit on loan. Antony's plan is clear: Man United. He wants to stay, he's only focused on Man United. We already spoke about that with the club."
Antony has the chance to prove himself in pre-season?
Man United have already sold Mason Greenwood to Marseille and are likely to offload Uruguay international Facundo Pellistri.
However, Antony will still face a battle to earn a starting spot on the right flank, amid competition from the likes of Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo.
Jadon Sancho, who has returned from a loan spell with Borussia Dortmund, could also be in the fight for a starting berth after recently resolving his differences with Ten Hag.
While it remains to be seen whether Man United will sign a new winger, Antony will have the chance to prove himself in the lead-up to the new Premier League season.
The attacker did not feature in the club's first two friendlies against Rosenborg and Rangers, but he is expected to be involved in the upcoming pre-season tour of the United States.
The Red Devils will face Arsenal, Real Betis and Liverpool, before they return home for the Community Shield against Manchester City on August 10.
