Keira Fae Walsh (born 8 April 1997) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for Manchester City of the WSL. Walsh became a first-team regular during their 2014 campaign, playing a key role in the team securing the Continental Cup.
Club Career
In July 2014, Walsh made her senior debut for Manchester City as a substitute in a 1–0 win over Notts County. She played an important role in City's 2014 Continental Cup-winning side and became a first-team regular towards the end of the season. In June 2015, she signed her first senior contract with the club. On 9 November 2016, Walsh scored her first goal in a 1–0 victory against Brondby IF in the Champions League last 16 first leg tie. Two days later, she extended her contract with City.
Prior to the 2019–20 season, Walsh handed in a transfer request amid interest from Olympique Lyonnais and Atletico Madrid. On 29 July, she withdrew her transfer request. Walsh was given a straight red card for a tackle on Kirsty Hanson in Manchester City's 2–0 loss to Manchester United in the League Cup on 20 October 2019. Walsh signed a new three-year contract on 7 February 2020.
