Dino Hotic

Dino Hotic (born 26 July 1995) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Cercle Brugge and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

Before joining the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, Hotic was a member of the Slovenian youth national teams.

Club Career

Hotic started his career with Maribor.

On 6 January 2020, Hotic signed with Belgian First Division A club Cercle Brugge – who were at that point placed bottom of the league – for a reported fee of €1.2 million. On 19 January, he made his debut for the club in a 1–2 defeat against Antwerp. On 8 February, he scored his first league goal in a 3–2 win over Mechelen.

International Career

Hotic was capped by Slovenia at all youth levels from under-16 to under-21 between 2010 and 2014. He was capped once by Slovenia B, playing in a 2–2 draw with China U25 on 24 January 2019. In October 2019, Hotic gained Bosnian citizenship and received a call-up to the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. He debuted on 18 November 2019, coming on as a half-time substitute in a match against Liechtenstein.
