On the back of the serious knee injury that he sustained in a friendly at the back end of 2022, Broja fought valiantly to put himself in contention for game time during 2023-24.
However, the Albania international would make just eight starts and 19 substitute outings during a frustrating campaign for the Blues and on loan at Fulham, scoring just the two goals.
The 22-year-old has since represented his nation at Euro 2024, featuring for 108 minutes across two appearances as the Red and Blacks bowed out in the group stages.
Broja can now turn his attention on the next phase of his club career, it highly likely that he will leave Chelsea during the summer transfer window.
Broja namechecks leagues that are potential destinations
In the past, the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Bologna and Monaco have all been linked with Broja, the first of those clubs having since moved on and signed Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Nevertheless, speaking in an interview with Albanian-based RTV Klan, Broja has revealed that there are teams from Italy, Germany and England that have expressed an interest in his signature.
He said: "It's true, I have offers from Serie A, the Bundesliga and the Premier League. Staying at Chelsea? It is an option. I still have a contract here."
While Broja still has four years remaining on his contract, the West Londoners would prefer to raise funds through his sale as they bid to improve their position with the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability regulations.
Broja hints at Milan ambition
Although not believed to be their first choice, AC Milan are also said to be monitoring the situation with Broja, and the player has hinted that his admiration for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the legendary striker who now holds an advisory position at San Siro, would sway him towards the Italian giants.
Broja added: "First of all, I would tell him that I am a big fan of his. I have always liked him as a player.
"Milan is a great club, second only to Real Madrid in history. I would tell him that I need to talk to my agent and family, then I will let him know."
Joshua Zirkzee - who Broja has been linked with replacing at Bologna - has been heavily linked with a transfer to Milan, but that deal has been held up by a disagreement over agent fees and rival interest from Manchester United.
