The Englishman enjoyed a productive spell with League One outfit Bristol Rovers in 2023-24, making 47 appearances in all tournaments and conjuring up three goals and six assists.
Vale is now back at Chelsea's Cobham training base awaiting to learn his next move, and his contract with the Blues only runs for another season, leading to uncertainty over his future.
According to football.london, Vale is set for another loan spell away from Stamford Bridge in the 2024-25 season, and there is already interest from teams in the Championship and abroad.
Despite his awkward contract situation, Chelsea supposedly have no intention of letting Vale leave the club on a permanent deal this summer, as there is still the belief that he can come good in West London.
The 2003-born product has made five appearances for the Blues' senior team, all of which came in the 2021-22 campaign when Thomas Tuchel was at the helm.
Leeds 'in talks' with La Liga side over Junior Firpo sale
However, one player who could leave an English club for good this summer is Leeds United left-back Junior Firpo, who is apparently in talks over a return to La Liga.
The former Barcelona man put in a good shift for the Whites in the 2023-24 season with eight assists from 33 games in all tournaments, although Daniel Farke's side suffered playoff heartache at the hands of Southampton.
Now in the final two years of his contract, Firpo could depart in search of top-flight football this summer before spending another season in the Championship, and he may follow some of his old teammates in the process.
According to Football Insider, Real Betis - who have already poached Diego Llorente and Marc Roca from Elland Road in recent weeks - are now keen to add Firpo to their ranks.
Leeds supposedly do not want to see Firpo leave the club this summer, but they will not stand in his way if the right offer comes in and they can also capture a replacement.
Firpo boasts two goals and 12 assists in 84 matches for Leeds in all competitions and is currently away with the Dominican Republic squad at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
AC Milan 'in direct contact' with Udinese midfielder
Over in Serie A, AC Milan have supposedly been in direct contact with the entourage of Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic, who was previously strongly linked with a move to their San Siro rivals Inter Milan.
The 22-year-old was seemingly on the verge of joining the reigning Italian champions last year, only for a deal to break down as the Nerazzurri pulled out of negotiations.
One year later, Samardzic is back on the market after another productive campaign with Udinese, registering six goals and two assists in 34 top-flight matches.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Milan have now held talks with Samardzic's father and agent, and the Rossoneri want to be 'informed' on what it will take to bring him to San Siro.
As well as Samardzic - who made two appearances for Serbia at Euro 2024 - Milan are also working on a move for Monaco's Youssouf Fofana after capturing Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid.
Sarpreet Singh 'attracts EFL interest' after Bayern Munich stint
Finally, free agent Sarpreet Singh is said to be attracting interest from a handful of clubs in the EFL after ending his time in German football.
The 25-year-old midfielder spent four years on the Bayern Munich books from 2019 to 2023, but he made just two appearances for the Bundesliga giants, both of which came in his debut season.
Singh left permanently for second-tier side Hansa Rostock last year, where he was responsible for one goal in 15 matches, but he did not renew his contract.
According to Football Insider, a host of English sides are interested in bringing Singh to the Championship next term, and Queens Park Rangers are among them.
Oxford United are also in the race, as are teams in MLS, but Singh is not expected to make a decision on his future until after the Paris 2024 Olympics, where he will represent New Zealand.
