The former England international has endured an injury-riddled time at Goodison Park recently, meaning that he was nowhere near contention for selection in Gareth Southgate's squad at Euro 2024.
However, Calvert-Lewin managed to stay fit for the majority of the 2023-24 campaign, in which he made 32 Premier League appearances for the Toffees, 26 of those coming from the start.
A return of seven goals and two assists in the top flight is not to be sniffed at, although the towering forward is not reaching the heights he achieved during 2020-21, when he scored 21 times across all competitions.
Despite this, Calvert Lewin could be in line for a major move across Premier League battle lines during this summer's transfer window, according to Football Insider.
The report claims that the former Sheffield United man is taking the fancy of West Ham, who are looking for striking reinforcements ahead of the new campaign.
It is understood that the Hammers are currently being put off a deal by Everton's lofty demands in terms of a transfer fee, although the switch could still happen for the forward.
Newcastle United were widely reported as potential suitors for Calvert-Lewin, although it is now said that Eddie Howe's side have pulled out of the pursuit for the 27-year-old.
Juventus interested in Borussia Dortmund attacker?
Moving across British Channel and onto the continent, Juventus are supposedly keen on securing the services of a Champions League finalist.
As per transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, the Old Lady have made direct contact with the camp of Borussia Dortmund attacker Karim Adeyemi.
The 22-year-old was agonisingly close to becoming a European champion on June 1, when the Bundesliga side lost 2-0 to Real Madrid in the final of the Champions League.
Since securing a switch from Red Bull Salzburg two years ago, Adeyemi has made 66 appearances for Dortmund, although it remains to be seen whether he makes it to 70 and beyond.
It is understood that Juventus have presented a contract offer to the 22-year-old, who was arguably unlucky to be left out of Germany's squad for Euro 2024.
Despite the situation advancing between the player's representatives and the Italians, there are currently no club-to-club talks over a potential transfer.
Adeyemi was linked to Premier League foes Liverpool and Chelsea earlier in the summer, with the winger recently stating that "there are no guarantees in life" when questioned on whether he will stay put at Signal Iduna Park.
Newcastle United 'closing in' on AC Milan star
Focusing back on the Premier League, Newcastle United have reportedly edged closer to their second centre-back signing of the summer transfer window.
As per Football Insider, the Magpies are closing in on a deal for AC Milan defender Malick Thiaw, despite the player himself describing the Rossoneri as "a bigger club".
Eddie Howe's side originally wanted to recruit the German's teammate Fikayo Tomori, however the Englishman rejected a move to St James' Park.
It is believed that Milan are holding out for at least £35m for the services of Thiaw, who has made 55 appearances for the Italians since joining from Schalke 04 for just £4.2m in August 2022.
Newcastle are looking to seal the defender's signature for as cheap as possible, although an initial bid of £25m was swiftly rejected by the seven-time European champions.
After serious injuries to Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles caused havoc for the Magpies last term, Howe is keen to have plenty of centre-back options in his squad ahead of the new season.
