mirror.co.uk, 22 June 2022, 06:15
Stay tuned for the latest updates on all of the latest transfer news and rumours as clubs from the Premier League and beyond attempt to add to their squads ahead of the 2022/23 campaign

The transfer window has only been open a matter of weeks but there has already been significant signs of movement both in the Premier League and beyond.

Manchester City and Liverpool have invested big in their forward lines, whilst Arsenal have also been busy having confirmed the arrival of Fabio Vieira. The business does not look like ending there though.

Sadio Mane looks to be all but a Bayern Munich player whilst Chelsea's record signing Romelu Lukaku is on the verge of a return to former club Inter Milan. In the meantime, former Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has been linked with a shock return to the Gunners.

With all of that being said, ensure you keep the blog locked throughout the day so that you don't miss a single rumour, development or announcement with Mirror Sport.

Leeds take firm Raphinha stance

Sticking with the Gunners, and they might have been handed considerable encouragement to complete a deal for Leeds United's Raphinha.

Arsenal have already had a bid rejected for the Brazilian winger but reports have suggested that the Yorkshire club will not stand in his way of a move should any interested club reach their valuation - thought to be in the region of £50m.

Mane could fall foul of history

It seems the odds are stacked against Sadio Mane as he edges ever closer to joining Bayern Munich.

The Liverpool forward flew into Germany on Tuesday to undergo his medical before being spotted signing autographs in the colours of his new club. It appears all that's left for Mane is to cross the i's and dot the t's before his wish to embark on a new challenge this summer is finally granted.

The 30-year-old has made no secret of his desire to move on to pastures new in recent weeks, content on leaving his Liverpool legacy behind in search of new horizons. However, in doing so, Mane is ignoring the advice of the club's legends and running the risk of following in the footsteps of a number of the Reds' fallen stars.
