Real Madrid will not offer Marco Asensio a contract renewal

Journalist Arancha Rodriguez told Cadena COPE's 'El Partidazo de COPE' radio show that Real Madrid will not offer Asensio a contract renewal.

Rodriguez explained that Real Madrid don't believe that Asensio will leave the club this summer, as heis not willing to part ways with Los Blancos ahead of the 2022/23 campaign. His current deal runs until June 2023.

Saudi Arabian side offer 300 million euros to sign Cristiano Ronaldo

CNN Portugal reports that Cristiano Ronaldo has received an offer of 300m euros to play for a team in Saudi Arabia.

Manchester United would receive 30m euros and Ronaldo would earn 250m euros to sign a two-year deal, while intermediaries will get 20m euros in commissions. His contract with the Red Devils expires next summer, but Ronaldo has reportedly asked to leave the club ahead of next season.

Monza want Marcelo

Italian transfer market reporter Nicolo Shira has reported that Serie A newcomers Monza are hoping to sign free agent Marcelo this summer, after his Real Madrid contract expired on June 30.

"Monza's latest crazy idea is Marcelo," Schira wrote. "Contact has been made."

Torreira next up for Valencia

Pablo Bentancur, agent of Uruguayan midfielder Lucas Torreira, has said that there is an agreement in place with Valencia boss Gennaro Gattuso for the player to move to Mestalla.

The agent added, though, that Arsenal were keen to keep hold of Torreira as his "numbers were good" in North London.

Torreira impressed on loan at Fiorentina last season.
