According to reports from Sky in Italy, that has led to interest from two of Serie A's biggest clubs, as well as Tottenham who are also said to be keen.
At 32 years of age, Smalling is looking for a long-term contract to offer stability as he approaches the final years of his career.

Smalling is highly-regarded at Roma by Jose Mourinho who is keen to keep the defender.
The former England star is also happy with life in Rome.
However, with the centre-back looking for a two-year contract and Roma hesitant to offer such a deal to an aging player, it could pave the way for a move away.

That said, extending his stay at the Stadio Olimpico is said to be the priority for the player.
Since moving to Roma from Old Trafford back in 2019, Smalling has made 117 appearances for the club, scoring 10 goals.
