Seeking to stretch their unbeaten run in friendly matches to five games, 158th-ranked Singapore host 159th-ranked Papua New Guinea at the National Stadium on Thursday lunchtime.

The hosts will also take on the Solomon Islands during this month's international period, while their visitors prepare for a sojourn to Malaysia once this week's contest is done and dusted.

Only one place separates the two minnows in the FIFA World Rankings at present, and we expect the standings to ring true in Thursday's affair.

Considering the strength in depth within Argentina's squad and the lack of international experience within Australia's youthful group, the reigning world champions will be regarded as firm favourites to come out on top on Thursday, with Messi and co expected to have plenty of joy in the final third.

Cambodia vs. Bangladesh (Thursday, 1.00pm)

Bangladesh will ramp up preparations for the upcoming South Asian Football Federation Championship when they travel to the National Olympic Stadium for a friendly with Cambodia on Thursday evening.

While the visitors have competitive commitments to take into account this month, their hosts have just the one exhibition match scheduled in the wake of their short-lived AFF Championship run.

After reaching the final of the AFF Championship, Vietnam will be aiming to continue their impressive form when they host Hong Kong in an international friendly on Thursday.

The Dragons have undergone a long stretch without a victory following six consecutive matches, adding even more pressure to them.

We say: Vietnam 3-0 Hong Kong

Vietnam have been enjoying a strong run of form as of late, and their defensive strength combined with Hong Kong's recent lack of attacking threat should lead to the hosts earning a comfortable win.

Jamaica vs. Qatar (Thursday, 5.00pm)

Jamaica and Qatar will meet for a friendly international in Austria on Thursday as both sides prepare for the CONCACAF Gold Cup later this month.

The Reggae Boyz last took to the field back in March, while the Maroons returned to action for the first time since January with a defeat to Croatia B last week.
