Müller got another 90 minutes under his belt as Bayern beat their Bavarian rivals 1-0 thanks to a Robert Lewandowski penalty, the champions reopening their nine-point advantage over Borussia Dortmund at the top of the Bundesliga standings.
Müller is also the only one of the three players to have recorded all of his Bundesliga victories in a Bayern jersey, with goalkeepers Neuer and Kahn having turned out for Schalke and Karlsruhe respectively before joining Bayern.
"Congratulations to him, he's an amazing player," teammate Jamal Musiala told bundesliga.com after the final whistle. "He's an idol for many players and someone you can look up to. It's an amazing achievement. Not many players can reach that milestone. It's amazing to see and be part of it."
The win also saw Joshua Kimmich record his 150th Bundesliga appearance it what was just his 196th outing in the German top flight. Only Arjen Robben had previously reached that landmark in so few games.
