Not only has he impressed domestically but he has also shone on the international stage, playing for Brazil's under-16s and recently scoring against England.

Despite standing at just 5ft 8in, Endrick is not lightweight and can compete with defenders.

He has the attributes of a complete striker and his style has drawn comparisons to the Brazilian legend Ronaldo.

Although it's the other Ronaldo that he idolises.

Speaking to Marca earlier this year, Endrick said: "Cristiano Ronaldo, a spectacular man, a phenomenon. I have to follow in his footsteps."

The Brazilian's reputation has so far replicated that of Neymar's past as he rose to superstar status at a young age.

The wonderkid has already gained a whopping 1.4 million followers on Instagram.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are also rumoured to be interested as they aim to make the first move to bring in the 16-year-old.

Also, Paris Saint-German and Bayern Munich are said to be monitoring his progress ahead of a possible future approach.

Encouragingly for these teams, reports suggest that his contract includes a release clause.

Real Madrid are the ones who appear to have won the race for his signature, though, with journalist Fabrizio Romano reporting they have reached an agreement.

That is for £62m and he would not join until July 2024, when he would be 18.
