How were the MARCA 100 chosen?
In total, 73 judges were assembled and each chose their 50 best players from the 2021/22 season, from a pre-established 100-player shortlist. The players in contention had to have played in Europe, though nationality doesn't come into play.
Each judge ordered their players from 1-50, with No.1 being the best in their eyes and picking up the most points, and those points awarded reduced all the way down to No.50.
