The transfer window now seems a lifetime ago, with the international break coming along and making a number of late signings wait to debut for their new clubs.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Antoine Griezmann and other high-profile players completed dramatic moves and the return of domestic football this coming weekend will finally see them make their bows at their new - and in some cases old - clubs.
Griezmann returns home
One of the biggest moves was Griezmann's back to Atletico Madrid, after a four-way domino effect that involved Chelsea, Atletico, Barcelona and Sevilla. The 30-year-old is ready to give his all as Los Rojiblancos face Espanyol away at 14:00 CEST on Sunday.
Camavinga steps onto the scene
Real Madrid were desperate to sign a Frenchman over the summer and Eduardo Camavinga arrived to soften the blow of missing out on Kylian Mbappe. Having been presented on Wednesday, he could debut on Sunday night against Celta Vigo at 21:00 CEST.
Cristiano Ronaldo is back in red
Cristiano Ronaldo is back in the Premier League and he'll wear his No.7 at Manchester United once more. With United playing Newcastle on Saturday at 16:00 CEST, fans in England will be unable to watch the game on television, making tickets all the more valuable.
Lucas Perez bring goals to Getafe
Lucas Perez left Alaves to sign for Elche and could debut at Getafe on Monday at 20:00 CEST. That's not the only Elche debut worth looking out for as, after terminating his contract at Roma, Javier Pastore is ready to play for the relegation battlers too.
Saul in blue
Saul Niguez is another player to have moved to the Premier League, this time at Chelsea. He'll have to battle N'Golo Kante, Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic in midfield for minutes, but could debut against Aston Villa at 18:30 CEST on Saturday.
Bellerin's Betis bow
Hector Bellerin is perhaps more excited to debut than anyone this weekend, but he'll have to wait until 22:00 CEST on Monday when Real Betis face Granada.
Ilaix steps away from La Masia
Ilais Moriba's contract saga dragged on and on this summer before he finally left for RB Leipzig. Now, he could debut against Bayern Munich at 18:30 CEST on Sunday.
Cucurella at Brighton
Another Spanish export in England, Marc Cucurella could start life with Brighton alongside compatriot Robert Sanchez away to Brentford on Saturday at 16:00 CEST.
Pablo Sarabia in Portugal
In leaving Paris Saint-Germain, Pablo Sarabia opted to join Sporting CP. They host Porto on Saturday at 21:30 CEST in a huge meeting this weekend.
Levante's No.13 Mustafi
It's unlucky for some, but hopefully not at Levante. Their new No.13 Shkodran Mustafi could make his debut for the Spanish side against Rayo Vallecano at 18:30 CEST on Saturday.
