However, Rashford's afternoon came to a premature end as he hobbled off the pitch with nine minutes remaining of the contest, clutching his groin as he made his way off the pitch.
The 25-year-old has been a key player for United so far this term, scoring 27 goals in all competitions and grabbing ten assists along the way, and the prospect of losing him would be a big worry.

According to the Dutch boss, though, it's too early to say whether United fans should be worried.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Ten Hag joked: "You are a doctor? No one can say [how bad the injury is].
"We have to wait. It can be worse but it can also be good, we don't know.
"We have to wait a couple of hours, so one or two days, then we can get a diagnosis."

Speaking to BT Sport, Ten Hag also said: "We have to wait — it doesn't look well.
"Once again, it is due to the schedule, it can't be that you play three games in six days. We have to protect our players."

United's next fixture is the Europa League clash with Sevilla on Thursday night, a clash that they'll be hoping to have Rashford available for.
