Stevenson hints at Eminem ring walk for next fight after conversation at Crawford bout

The two-weight world champion will fight for the vacant WBC lightweight title against Edwin De Los Santos on November 16 and has not ruled out being accompanied by the global rap star.

Slim Shady is no stranger to the world of Boxing having already walked Terrence Crawford to the ring for his fight against Errol Spence in July.

He was also in attendance for Tyson Fury's recent split-decision victory over Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia last month.

Stevenson revealed that he met the lyricist during the weekend of the Crawford v Spence fight in Las Vegas and let slip a conversation between the pair.

"I actually met him the night before [the fight]," Stevenson told ES News. "He told me he was a big fan and actually he is a big fan because when he saw me he was like 'man, two of my favourite boxers, I finally get to meet them. Nobody can beat you man, it's just too hard to hit you man."

The ringing endorsement from one of music's biggest stars pleased the Olympic silver medalist who also hinted at a possible collaboration with Eminem in the near future.

When asked if the Detroit-based rapper could walk him to the ring in his next fight, he replied: "I don't know, we'll see, we'll see."

Stevenson's record stands at an impressive 20 wins and is undefeated at professional level. The 26-year-old has a 50 percent knockout ratio, having stopped ten of his opponents.

His last fight came in April when he beat Shuichiro Yoshino by a sixth-round stoppage in what was his debut at lightweight.

Stevenson is now eager to conquer a division and is already eyeing a meeting with undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney while Gervonta Davis, Vasiliy Lomachenko, and Ryan Garcia all remain viable options.
