Despite them being only one point off the top of the Bundesliga table, it's widely reported that Bayern are set to sack Nagelsmann.

The 35-year-old is one of football's up and coming managers, having won the league with the German giants last season.

However, he is set to be dismissed from his role, and O'Hara believes he would be the ideal man to take the reins at Spurs.

Following the news, the former Spurs midfielder tweeted: "Nagelsmann sacked by Bayern, Spurs should get straight on the phone to him."

Current boss Conte is facing the sack following his dramatic outburst after their 3-3 draw against Southampton.

The Italian is also unpopular with many senior Spurs players, and his tenure in north London could therefore be coming to an end.

Bayern's latest decision means that Tuchel will be preparing for a return to football after his sacking from Chelsea in September.

It has been reported that it was a 'question of time' as to when his appointment will be announced with the German recently living in Munich.

He spent over a year-and-a-half at the Blues, winning the Champions League, Super Cup and Club World Cup. However, Tuchel was sacked by co-owner Todd Boehly in September.

Whilst he approaches a comeback to German football following his time at Borussia Dortmund, he could be on course for a return to Stamford Bridge.

Bayern face Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-finals and should they win, they will face the winners of Real Madrid and Chelsea in the semi-finals.

Triumphs for Bayern and Chelsea would see Tuchel come up against his replacement Graham Potter on the touchline just months after his dismissal.

He proved to be a hugely successful appointment in west London, and a return would give him the chance to show his former bosses what they're missing.
