The hosts have a lot of injury concerns to worry about.

Daniel Jebbison and Rhys Norrington-Davies remain out with long-term problems, with no return date in sight.

John Fleck, Rhian Brewster, Max Lowe, Ben Osborn, John Egan and George Baldock are also all injured.

Ollie McBurnie is suspended after picking up two yellow cards in the 2-1 defeat to Tottenham.

Meanwhile, Newcastle are likely to rotate with the games coming thick and fast.
