Sergio Ramos scored the first goal in PSG's 2-0 friendly victory over French second division side Quevilly Rouen at their training centre on Friday.
The match was played without fans in a relaxed atmosphere, as new coach Christophe Galtier took charge of his first contest with his new side.
The big moment came in the 33rd minute of the first half as Messi won a penalty for PSG.
However the Argentine didn't take it, with Sergio Ramos stepping up and and slotting home instead.
It was the first goal of the Parisian's preseason ahead of their Japanese tour, which will begin in the coming days.
Ramos' goal wasn't the only one on the day, as Djeidi Gassama rounded out the scoring.
The youngster, originally from Mauritania, is said to be one of PSG's most promising young players.
