The two Liverpool stars will once again lock horns for a place in Qatar with Salah's Egypt holding a slender 1-0 advantage following the first leg last week.
But Senegal will be buoyed by the fact that they edged out the Pharaohs during the AFCON final back in February.
Yet the Lions of Teranga will also be wary that the away goals rule is still in use across the play-offs in Africa meaning another Egypt goal will leave them with a mountain to climb.
Senegal vs Egypt: Date and kick-off time
The play-off second-leg tie will be held on Tuesday, March 29 and will kick off at 6pm UK time.
It is taking place at the Diamniadio Olympic Stadium in Dakar.
Saliou Ciss's own goal in the fourth minute mean Egypt boast a narrow 1-0 lead ahead of tonight's game.
Senegal vs Egypt: TV channel and live stream

Senegal vs Egypt: Team news
Mane is fit and raring to go but the hosts are expected to be without Abdou Diallo after he was forced off during the first leg.
He joins Seny Dieng and Alfred Gomis on the sidelines for Senegal.
Egypt meanwhile also have a number of injuries to contend with as former West Brom star Ahmed Hegazy is out along with Akram Tawfik.
Ramadan Sobhi, formerly of Stoke, is also absent, as is Mohamed Hany, while Mohamed Abdelmonem suffered a concussion on Friday.
Senegal vs Egypt: What has been said?
Senegal coach Aliou Cisse said: "Besides Abdou Diallo, the rest of the team is ready for the game. We watched the previous game and are ready to face Egypt.
"We have to be in the best shape and score at least one goal. We have a chance to write history in this new stadium.
"It is not guaranteed that we will score a lot of goals by increasing the number of forwards, but we have to be clinical in front of goal.
"There is no fear, time is our first enemy but we will not rush. The first goal is to score the equalizer.
"We have to be more efficient. We played against Egypt in two games, and we didn't score a goal. Our goal is to win the second-leg.
"We don't need to motivate the players if it's about qualifying for the world cup and I think we will qualify.
"The best scenario for us is to score a goal against this strong defensive team. We have developed several scenarios depending on the course of the game," he added.
