The 37-year-old former England international has enjoyed a long career in England and established himself as an important part of the dressing room at the Etihad.

But after barely featuring since signing, many fans are wondering if the former Liverpool and West Brom goalkeeper is still in Manchester.
Does Carson still play for Man City?

Carson initially joined City on a season-long loan in 2019 before the deal was extended the following summer.
In those two years, the goalkeeper made one appearance during a 4-3 win over Newcastle, while he was named as a substitute 30 times across all competitions.
However, despite featuring so little and being City's clear third-choice goalkeeper, the Citizens offered Carson a permanent deal in the summer of 2021.
The Englishman agreed and signed a further extension last summer, keeping him with City for the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign.

Since signing his first permanent contract with the Citizens, Carson has made one substitute appearance and has been on the bench 51 times.
He has also won two Premier League titles, two League Cup trophies and the Community Shield.

Speaking in 2022 about his new contract, Carson said: "I'm delighted to be staying with City for another season.
"To work with Pep, the coaches and such talented teammates is a real honour and one I relish every day.
"I have already gained so much from my time here, and hopefully, I can keep helping to push the club's other goalkeepers to be the best they can be."
Carson's deal expires at the end of the season, and it wouldn't be a surprise if he extends for another year.
