Saturday's Ligue 1 predictions including Paris Saint-Germain vs. Reims

Monaco vs. Rennes (Saturday, 4.00pm)

Monaco will look to build on the momentum of their midweek win when they welcome Rennes to the Stade Louis II in Ligue 1 on Saturday.

Adi Hutter's men are yet to win a domestic match in 2025, but earned a valuable three points in the Champions League on Tuesday.

We say: Monaco 1-0 Rennes

Rennes's last six defeats have all been by a single goal, and their last nine losses to Monaco have all come via the same margin, and they are set to be edged out again given their dismal recent form.

Monaco's midweek win could be the tonic for them to return to form domestically, and home results have been largely excellent for Hutter's men this season.

Strasbourg vs. Lille (Saturday, 6.00pm)

In Ligue 1 on Saturday, in-form Strasbourg host a Lille side reeling from losing their club-record unbeaten streak in midweek.

Both clubs have been in excellent form domestically over the past month or so, and both have European qualification in their sights.

We say: Strasbourg 1-1 Lille

Lille manager Genesio has only lost three of his 12 previous meetings against Strasbourg, but the Alsace club have not been playing at such a level for quite some time, and it should be a challenging evening for the visitors.

Now five games unbeaten, Strasbourg will fancy their chances of another result given their superb home form, and the fact that Lille enter the game on the back of a rare defeat.

PSG vs. Reims (Saturday, 8.05pm)

Just days after a thrilling win in Europe, Paris Saint-Germain return to Ligue 1 action with a home clash against Reims on Saturday night.

Luis Enrique's men are striding clear at the top of the standings, but have had some difficulty in this fixture in recent years.

We say: Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 Reims

Enrique will likely rotate slightly here with one eye on the trip to Stuttgart on Wednesday, but even their second string should have enough to sweep Reims aside here.

The visitors have been out of sorts lately, and missed the chance to arrest their poor run by failing to beat Le Havre at home last weekend, and tasks do not get much larger than this in French football.
