Goias vs. Bragantino (Saturday, 8.30pm)
After a two-week journey in the Copa Libertadores, Bragantino return to Brasileiro action on Saturday when they travel to Goias.
The visitors exited the competition in midweek after extending their winless run, whilst the hosts were narrowly beaten at giants Flamengo in league action last time out.
We say: Goias 1-1 Bragantino
With Bragantino heading into this one on the back of some poor form, as well as a tiring trip to Uruguay in midweek, we can see the hosts nicking a positive result here.
Goias have started solidly on home soil following their promotion, so we can see the visitors enduring another tough day when they visit the Estadio Haile Pinheiro on Saturday.
Sao Paulo vs. Ceara (Saturday, 11.00pm)
Both Sao Paulo and Ceara return to Brasileiro action on Saturday following successful results in the Copa Sudamericana in midweek.
The hosts extended their long unbeaten run with a narrow victory, whilst the visitors continued their fine cup form with a win themselves, although their results in the league have been a far different story.
We say: Sao Paulo 2-0 Ceara
Despite there being five successive 1-1 draws in previous meetings between these two sides, we can see there being a winner on Saturday, with hosts Sao Paulo surely having enough in them to record all three points.
The home side were able to rest all of their first 11 in the week, and head into the game on the back of some solid form following an excellent start to the campaign, whilst the visitors head to Sao Paulo following a tiring trip to Argentina in midweek, and with some questionable form in the Brasileiro so far this season.
Fortaleza vs. Juventude (Sunday, 12.30am)
Fresh off a midweek Copa Libertadores victory, Fortaleza will look to clinch their first Brasileiro win of the season when they play host to Juventude on Saturday.
The hosts are currently propping up the league table, and they are joined in the relegation zone by Juventude, who occupy 18th position.
We say: Fortaleza 2-1 Juventude
Although Fortaleza are yet to win in the league this season, they head into the weekend in high spirits after progressing to the Copa Libertadores knockout rounds.
Juventude, meanwhile, are looking to clinch consecutive away victories, but after losing three of the last four competitive meetings with Fortaleza, we think that the visitors will leave Castelao empty-handed.
