The tie is currently on a knife edge with the two teams having played out a goalless draw last week.

With these two teams having each finished in the top three of the standings, we do not expect much between them in this second leg. However, with Melbourne having had more game time of late, we feel that their extra sharpness could prove key in securing a place in the final.

Central Coast Mariners play host to Sydney FC in the second leg of their A-League Finals Series semi-final on Saturday.

The first leg in Sydney saw Central Coast Mariners come from behind to establish a 2-1 advantage ahead of the reverse fixture.

We say: Central Coast Mariners 1-1 Sydney FC (Central Coast Mariners to win 3-2 on aggregate)

Having shown their superior quality in the first leg, the Mariners will expect to get the job done on Saturday. While we feel that Sydney will give another good account of themselves, potentially with a share of the spoils, we are backing the home side to do what they need to do.
