The Egyptian star has reportedly been offered £155m a year deal by Al Ittihad to join the Saudi Pro League side with the Reds in line to receive a fee of £60million.
However Liverpool fans can breathe a sigh of relief, with that move ruled out by the player's agent Ramy Abbas.
Taking to Twitter, Abbas said: "If we considered leaving LFC [Liverpool Football Club] this year, we wouldn't have renewed the contract last summer.
"Mohamed remains committed to LFC."
Speculation was rife about Salah's future last term with reports suggesting that he was set to leave Anfield in search of a new challenge.

However he penned a contract last summer that will see him stay with the Reds until 2025, a deal that his agent clearly intends to honour amid interest from Saudi Arabia.
Al Ittihad have already significantly strengthened this summer after bringing in Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante and ex-Celtic star Jota to the club in order to boost their chances of retaining the Saudi Pro League title.
They also brought in Fabinho from Liverpool, while the Reds also lost Jordan Henderson to Al Ettifaq, who are managed by club legend Steven Gerrard.
Keeping Salah will be a huge boost for Liverpool, after he scored 30 goals in 51 appearances for the club last season.
