Ronaldo's 'best XI of teammates' including Man United stars, Bale and Benzema

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has played for Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus in a trophy-laden career.

Ronaldo joined Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr in December, after being released by United, whom he returned to for a second stint in 2021.

The Portugal captain has won several prestigious team and individual honours and called legends of the game his teammates.

Goal Arabia have now declared who should make up Ronaldo's best ever XI and it's sparked some debate.

Real Madrid and Spain legend Iker Casillas is the goalkeeper.

The former shot-stopper is joined by his ex-Los Blancos teammates Marcelo and Sergio Ramos, who both form part of the defence.

Man United legend Rio Ferdinand, and Juventus great Giorgio Chiellini feature in the backline.

In midfield, Real Madrid midfielders Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, as well as Man United legend Paul Scholes, make the team.

It's a star-studded forward line, with Gareth Bale on the right and Karim Benzema on the left, having played alongside the duo at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Wayne Rooney takes his place in through the middle, with Ronaldo and Rooney both terrorising Premier League defences over the years.

Though the pair have not seen eye-to-eye of late with their friendship souring.

Not only was Rooney unimpressed with Ronaldo's infamous interview with Piers Morgan, he slammed the Portuguese ace for refusing to come onto the pitch in the Red Devils match against Tottenham last October.

Rooney said: "The things he has done from the start of season, it is not acceptable for Manchester United."

Ronaldo then hit back, saying: "I don't know why he criticises me so badly… probably because he finished his career and I'm still playing at a high level.
