Former Premier League star Gabby Agbonlahor insists the talisman is 'not the problem' for the Premier League club and is instead the only one getting them results.
Following their horrific 5-0 loss to Liverpool, questions have been asked about Ronaldo's work ethic off the ball, but in typical fashion he responded with the only way he knows how.
He provided a goal and an assist in the Red Devils' 3-0 away win to Spurs and bailed the team out against Atalanta scoring twice in a 2-2 draw which led to Agbonlahor's defence of the striker.
The ex-Aston Villa captain said on talkSPORT Breakfast: "Whenever they need a goal, he's there, isn't he? But how many times are they going to need him to get them out of jail?
"Why is it always him that has to come up with a world class finish?
"Probably a lot of people need to apologise really about the way they spoke about Ronaldo that he's going to be the problem.
"He's the one saving them, he's not the problem, he's the one getting them results, keeping them in the Champions League, keeping them in the race for the top four."
With nine goals in 12 appearances in all competitions so far, it's fair to say Ronaldo has had a huge impact on Man United so far.
