Friday night saw Al-Nassr face Al-Riyadh in the Saudi Pro League, a fixture that Ronaldo's side won 4-1 as they look to close the gap on league leaders Al-Hilal.

As well as grabbing an assist, Ronaldo found the net once again for his club to take his tally in 2023 to an incredible 49 goals so far.

That record puts him among the most prolific goalscorers in elite football, with Kane currently level with Ronaldo on 49 goals.

As it stands, Haaland is the man to beat with the Manchester City star boasting 50 strikes so far in this calendar year.

Considering that Ronaldo has played just 55 matches this year, his strike rate shows that he's showing little sign of slowing down as he moves into what will surely be the latter years of his careeer.
