Cristiano Ronaldo has unsurprisingly declared that he wants to win even more trophies - but has given Manchester United a timeframe to challenge for them.
The global football superstar, who turned 37 at the beginning of February, has made his name as a serial winner over his 20-year playing career, though his days lifting silverware cannot last forever.
In fact, this season could see Ronaldo go without a trophy for the first time since the 2009-10 campaign - his first year at Real Madrid - since the Red Devils' only shot getting their hands on one is an unlikely Champions League triumph.
With that in mind and the fact his body is finally showing signs of ageing, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner was quizzed on how long he has to collect even more medals to enhance his glittering career.
"It's hard to say that I don't want more, because if I'm at a club that gives me the opportunity to win more things, why not? And in the national team too," Ronaldo told DAZN.

"I know I don't have many years left playing, four or five more, we'll see, and I want to win more things. You have to be intelligent and know that at 18, 20 or 25 you are not the same as at 35.
"And that is the maturity, the experience, the intelligence to understand that maybe you lose some things to win others and have the right balance to continue competing and be at the highest level."
While Ronaldo has scored just one goal in 2022, he reached the 800 mark for his career earlier this term and continues to break long-established records back at United, where he has a contract until June 2023.
Amid criticism from all angles barring his loyal fans, the Portugal captain is content with his form, adding that he is "very happy" playing for his beloved club.
"I show year after year that the numbers speak for themselves," Ronaldo affirmed. "I don't have to tell you that I'm very good, because the numbers are there. The facts are facts, the rest is not. It doesn't matter at all.
"That's why I'm very happy with my form, I'm still scoring goals, helping people, teams, both in the national team and at Manchester United and that's why I want to continue like this."
The forward recently endured a difficult night against Atletico Madrid in Wednesday's round-of-16 first leg, although the 1-1 draw had Ronaldo feeling positive.
"Always a great feeling to be back in Madrid, one of the few cities in the world that I've learned to call 'home'," he wrote on Instagram.
"Great feelings, great players, great game, this is Champions League! The mother of all club competitions! Now we have the opportunity to close this for us in our stadium, showing everybody why Old Trafford is and will always be The Theatre Of Dreams.
"Last but not least, thanks to our amazing supporters! Your presence make us stronger, and together we will go forward! Let's go, Devils!"
