Richarlison, 25, will miss Spurs' clash at home against Southampton on August 6 following his infamous flare throwing incident at the end of the previous campaign.
The Brazil international launched the item at Everton supporters after netting the winner in the Toffees' 1-0 victory over Chelsea back in May.
It means his debut for his new side will be delayed, but the forward will be back to face Thomas Tuchel's side a week later at Stamford Bridge on August 13.
Spurs brought in ex-Watford forward Richarlison for £60million, beating off Chelsea to his signature.
After an investigation, FA Chiefs deemed the player to be handed a one-match suspension in light of the incident, despite talkSPORT pundits previously calling him to not face action.
"An independent Regulatory Commission has suspended Richarlison de Andrade for one match and fined him £25,000 following a breach of FA Rule E3 that took place during a Premier League game on Sunday 1 May 2022," a FA statement read on Tuesday.
"The Tottenham Hotspur FC forward admitted that his conduct while playing for Everton FC during the 46th minute of this game against Chelsea FC was improper, and his sanction was imposed during a subsequent hearing."
Spurs are looking to bolster their squad further after securing Richarlison, with Conte keen on further additions.
The defensive duo of both Barcelona centre-back Clement Lenglet and Middlesbrough full-back Djed Spence are on the agenda, with talks for the pair reportedly ongoing.
Conte's side have already been busy this summer, and have drafted in goalkeeper Fraser Forster previously of Southampton, Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan, ex-Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma, and former Everton star Richarlison.
Tottenham prepare to re-enter the Champions League after a two-year absence, and will look to challenge on all-front next season.
