The first Old Firm derby between the two Glaswegian giants, who are both set to be tussling for the title once again, will take place on September 3 in the sixth gameweek of the season on Celtic's turf.
Both sides will renew acquaintances at Ibrox on January 2, before facing each other again at Parkhead on April 8 in what will be Celtic's penultimate home game of the season before the league splits in two.
Elsewhere in the Scottish Premiership, newly-promoted Kilmarnock will begin their season with a home encounter against Dundee United, who are currently managerless following the departure of Tam Courts to Budapest Honved, while St Mirren and Motherwell will face each other in Paisley.
Lee Johnson will start his Premiership reign as Hibernian head coach with as trip to St Johnstone, while Hearts play host to Ross County at Tynecastle Park.
Hibs and Hearts will then lock horns in just the second gameweek of the season for the first Edinburgh derby on August 6, with the next two showdowns between the two clubs taking place on January 2 and April 15.
