The Crystal Palace man spent four seasons at QPR, where he became a firm fan favourite, before a £17million move to the Eagles in 2020.
And when Palace returned to Eze's former stomping ground, Loftus Road, the enigmatic midfielder showed Rs supporters exactly what they'd been missing since he left.
The 24-year-old put his current side ahead after 28 minutes, before Wilfried Zaha added another two - one of which was an absolute corker - as the top-flight side won 3-0.
And Eze's former employers joked that they weren't too happy about him finding the back of the net - his goal was a pretty sweet one, too - as they claimed he 'didn't get the memo' about not scoring against them.
QPR tweeted: "Eze didn't get the memo about not scoring and pings one in from 20 yards."
That was something they got used to during his time at Loftus Road where he scored 20 goals in 104 league games for them, including multiple Goal of the Season contenders.
One fan even admitted to applauding the goal on social media, with many in the home end seemingly following suit - that's how much they still love the now-Premier League man.
Seeing that it was only a friendly, the supporters didn't seem too bothered that their former superstar found the back of the net.
And they would probably be more than happy to see him scoring against them more often, as long as it were in a Premier League clash rather than a meaningless pre-season fixture.
