While the visitors will be seeking to pick up their first win of the campaign, El Ferroviario head into the game on a run of five consecutive league wins on home turf.
Match preview
Central Cordoba failed to make it two wins from two for the first time since last December as they suffered a 2-1 defeat away to Banfield on Wednesday.
In an action-packed contest at the Estadio Florencio Sola, Alejandro Cabrera and Giuliano Galoppo scored either side of Francisco Metilli's 54th-minute equaliser to hand the hosts all three points.
Prior to that, Sergio Rondina's side were held to a 1-1 stalemate by Barracas Central in the league opener on June 4 before picking up an impressive 1-0 victory over Boca Juniors nine days later.
Central Cardoba head into Tuesday's game on a run of just one victory in their last eight games on home turf across all competitions, losing four and claiming three draws in that time.
San Lorenzo, on the other hand, were involved in a share of the spoils once again as they were held to a somewhat disappointing 3-3 draw by Arsenal de Sarandi on Tuesday.
In a six-goal thriller, Nestor Ortigoza, Jalil Elias and Ivan Leguizamon scored in succession to cancel out Lucas Suarez's 20th-minute opener and put the hosts two goals up before Cristian Colman scored twice in a two-minute spell to restore parity.
San Lorenzo head into Tuesday's game unbeaten in each of their last five outings across all competitions, claiming four draws and one win since April's 2-1 loss to Patronato.
While they will look to pick up their first win of the season, next up is the stern test of taking on an opposing side who have won each of their last four home games in the league since last October.

Team News
Central Cordoba will take to the pitch without the duo of goalkeeper Andres Mehring and forward Agustin Gallo, who are both recuperating from ACL injuries.
They are joined on the club's injury table by Paraguayan international Jose Leguizamon, who is set to sit out his sixth consecutive game through a knee problem.
Thirty-year-old Matias Laba is also out of contention for the hosts after coming off with a hip injury 15 minutes into the game against Godoy Cruz on May 2.
As for San Lorenzo, Insua will be unable to call upon the services of former AC Milan and Villarreal defender Cristian Zapata, who is out with a muscle problem.
Fellow defender Gino Peruzzi will also play no part on Tuesday as he continues his long road to full fitness after suffering a severe knee injury back in March.
Central Cordoba possible starting lineup:
Toselli; Gomez, Pereyra, Benedetto, Banegas; Martinez, Soraire, Linares, Metilli; Riano, Ribas
San Lorenzo possible starting lineup:
Torrico; Gattoni, Hernandez, James; Elias, Rosane, F Perruzzi, Martegani, Mercau; Bareiro, Cerutti
We say: Central Cordoba 1-2 San Lorenzo
While San Lorenzo head into the game unbeaten in five straight outings, they have drawn each of their opening three games of the season. However, they will fancy their chances against an opposing side who have managed just one win from their last eight games on home turf. We anticipate a cagey affair at the Victor Antonio Aguirre Stadium with the visitors stealing a slender victory.
