The home side sit in 11th place in the Turkish Super Lig, while Antalyaspor are in the relegation zone after failing to win any of their last five matches.
Match preview
The hosts began the season with a mixture of results, splitting their opening six games evenly between wins, draws and defeats.
Although inconsistent, Alanyaspor were still picking up victories and points, but that is a skill that appears to have evaded them in recent weeks.
Their three-game winless run began with a demoralising 5-0 defeat to Fenerbahce, and although they managed to pick up a point against Giresunpor, they were beaten once again last Sunday.
Hatayspor's Burak Oksuz scored in the 72nd minute to condemn Alanyaspor to a third consecutive away defeat, ensuring Francesco Farioli's side will be looking forward to returning to home surroundings.
With only one defeat in their four home games this season, the hosts will certainly believe that they can take at least a point from Friday's contest.
Meanwhile, Nuri Sahin would have been pleased with his side when they began the season with two wins in their opening three games.
However, the Antalyaspor boss will be less than impressed with results since a 5-2 victory over Trabzonspor after failing to win any of their previous five matches.
They managed to avoid a fifth consecutive defeat last weekend when they faced Konyaspor, although they were just moments away from claiming their third victory of the season.
Fernando looked to have set his side on their way to all three points when he opened the scoring in the 51st, but a 96th-minute equaliser from Francisco Calvo ensured Antalyaspor's wait for a win continues.
Having conceded 12 goals and only found the net on three occasions in their five-game winless run, Antalyaspor know their is still work to do despite going agonisingly close to claiming a victory last Saturday.
